Jasper National Park mountain pine beetle infestation

Total devastation driving through Jasper National Park this February. The mountain pine beetle has really started to do some serious damage here. The whole park could look like this in a few years unless we get a good cold winter or two to take down their numbers a bit. Much of northern Alberta has been infested, I was in Peace River recently, and what used to be a beautiful campground looks like a trailer park now.
