Vanished: John Wise, The Aeronaut PART 1

Whether it was Santos Dumont from Brazil or the Wright Bothers from North Carolina, aeronauts from the 1800's discovered many inventions and scientific research that pushed flight to new heights. One of them was John Wise of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. In this series of videos I'll talk about many of his most well know scientific discoveries and inventions. In this Part we will go into his early life, voyages, invention of the parachute hot air balloon, and all the way to his discovery of the eastward air current he though could be used for travel.
