Films and Faith Story Telling

Good story telling can be a powerful way to challenge thinking and indirectly build a persuasively build a case which may change minds. For example, when David sinned with Bathsheba and brought about the death of her husband God sent Nathan the prophet had to confront. Nathan did so through storytelling. The purpose was to confront the King David which he did incorrectly and David repented. Books, film and other medium can challenge the reader or viewer come face to face with a truth they would reject in direct confrontation but may see if in the story and repent. Gayla Prewitt is a writer/Producer challenging culture with her sanctity of life thriller film, Glimmer.
