Black bear (Ursus americanus) non-lethal attacks on humans

Stephen M. Vantassel, host of Living the Wild Life podcast, reviews research on black bear attacks on people that did not result in death that occurred in the lower 48 between 2000 and 2017. Interestingly not all the attacks were associated with food. The findings can help people consider ways to avoid conflicts with bears.
