ARRESTS at University of Michigan Pro-Palestine Demonstration

Multiple arrests made today at the University of Michigan, after police mobilized to stop a pro-Palestine demonstration at The Diag on campus.

The demonstration was held during Festifall, where a variety of student organizations set up tables on campus to showcase their groups to potential interested students.

Police issued an announcement shortly before arrests began, stating “if you are laying on the ground and obstructing The Diag, you are in violation of Section 750.552 of Michigan Compiled Laws, trespass after warning”
