Marysville Man Sentenced to 27 Years in Prison for Child Exploitation Charges

SACRAMENTO, California

Brent Hooton, 51, of Marysville, was sentenced today by US District Judge Dale A. Drozd to 27 years in prison
for sexual exploitation of a child and distribution of child pornography, U S Attorney Phillip A. Talbert announced.

According to court documents,
in May 2021 Hooton produced three images of a severely autistic child who was under the age of 12 engaged
in sexually explicit conduct.
