The Longevity Hustle

These days I am able to indulge my fascination, if not obsession with numbers, patterns and the "code" of Universe. I imagine that there's some kind of key to existing in harmony with the matter on this realm, as well as existing in the ethereal realm, or in "spirit world," or "dream world." And the key, is numbers. Not so much the math, but the patterns.

We've been going on about circles, 360, sacred 7s and magic 9s, over the summer. The more I ponder the patterns, the more are revealed to me. Patterns I never noticed, or that no one mentioned during school years. If they had, I may have been far more interested in math and may have gone a different way. (Just to brag a little, I took Algebra 2 & Geometry in the same year and passed them both.)

Before we get into the title track, (a rant cast), we return to the circle, the 360 degrees and 7. I theorized that moving from zero, by 7 degrees each jump, that we'd hit every degree of the circle in 7 laps. Then, another pattern emerged. I was amazed, but then I was not. I trip through it in the opening. But some will get what I'm getting at, and others will already know this.

Is "longevity" a buzz word in your echo chamber? I've been hearing about it since late last century. Two things I learned about Boomers is that they are generally egocentric, and they want to live forever. The latter characteristic I appreciate about them, because that kind of thinking breaks a kind of taboo, or inevitability about death. It also inspires study of biological health. On the dark side, which is always present, but more so in Boomers because of their egocentricity, there's a profit motive, so longevity becomes a contest & and product-driven lifestyle industry. (More on that in later episodes.)
