A Guide to Running for Local Office

We’re joined by my friend Andy Fox, who just won a seat on the Knox County Commission, for a fun discussion on how to run for local office. We discuss both the imperative and the mechanics of running for local office. We need to break out of this dynamic of politics being a spectator sport rather than a participatory sport on the right. We also discuss the importance of mid-sized red counties like Knox County and how the Left is beginning to make inroads into these areas. Fox believes that the historical conservative nature of these counties has bred complacency and has perpetuated a class of Republicans who still believe they can and must compromise with people who will destroy their heritage.
