Elevated Rights

This is a May 9th 2023 Discussion I had with a Park Supervisor named Danny Schreck regarding the Locking of a Public Park Facility (Equestrian Arena).

The arena is located in a Public Park called Rohr Park in the county of San Diego. Chula Vista annexed this park in the late 80s. The arena was still used and accessed by both the community and the club, until recently when the club has been allowed to lock it.
A private Club named Sunnyside Saddle Club took it upon themselves to lock out the public from accessing a public park facility that the community of backyard horses owners and other local or visiting horse owners have used and enjoyed for 41 years. When you arrive now at this park facility in Rohr Park, you will find it locked and being unused, even though the community REWALLY wants to access it and use it for the well being of their horses and their enjoyment, like the other park facilities are allowed to be use.

SSC is demanding for you to be in good standing with the club and to pay for a membership to use this arena, and they restrict the use of the arena, which is
against the Chula Vista Municipal Codes which states FULL access without regard to status to the Public using the park and the facilities.
This club has even been given a $25,000 Grant, but they are still locking out the community?

Why are city officials allowing this to happen?
Something isn't right. But a lot of retaliatory events are being allowed to occur.
The targeting of community members who want to access this facility is on going.
