Do politicians pay tax on payola received from lobbyists?

Are the payola figures in this video accurate? What do politicians do in return for all the dosh they accept from lobbyists? Do they declare these special deals so the millions of people who fund their lavish lifestyles are able to see what they are up to? I’m sure the pharmaceutical corporations & other controllers would also hand over mountains of dosh.

What is the point of government? I’ve forgotten.
