Mike Ring: If Canada can debank truckers, don’t assume it can’t happen in America

Mike Ring, president and CEO of Old Glory Bank, says he first saw the threats of “debanking” in 2022 during the Canadian “Freedom Convoy” movement against the government’s vaccine mandates. “The way they stopped that strike was by turning off their bank accounts. And if they can do that in Canada, don’t think that they’re not doing it in America,” he says.
