The Haunted Palace

This was a Roger Croman foray into merging the mythos of HP Lovecraft into the then contemporary gothic horror style of the 1960s Hammer era. Loosely based on the story The Case of Charles Dexter Ward this movie blends the base cosmic horror story seamlessly into a gothic horror tone popular in drive in double features of the time.

Staring Vincent Price, Lon Chaney Jr and forgotten sex symbol Debra Paget this movie was a staple of the pre-Halloween season in my youth.
