LA Knight vs. Ludwig Kaiser

SmackDown in Berlin opened with LA Knight coming to the ring to a big ovation. He soaked in the applause before speaking about being 27 years since WWE filmed in Germany.

Ludwig Kaiser interrupted to say he thinks Knight should be willing to defend his title against anyone in the world. The Megastar was more than willing to oblige and this turned into a title match during the break.

The German crowd chanted for Kaiser as they locked up. Kaiser made a clean break when he had Knight cornered to show he didn't need to cheat.

This was a solid, competitive match, but it was also somewhat paint-by-numbers. Nobody expected the title to change hands, but the crowd was long for the ride. It was reacting loudly to everything Kaiser did.

Knight won with a BFD and celebrated. The crowd was still pro-Knight, but Kaiser was definitely the favorite.
