A day out on the LIRR & MN New Haven Line! Featuring the final LIRR Cannonball Express of 2024!

Recorded on 8/30/24. Me and Lisa ventured out for some railfanning during the last weeks of summer and we did a lot! Initially we planned this trip to check out the Harry Potter Express event at Grand Central. Not only did that event end up not being much, but the hours were pretty short too. So we ended up missing it, but we didn't miss much. We managed to do everything else. We went back to Forest Hills to catch the Long Island Railroad's final run of the Cannonball Express of 2024 since the event at Grand Central began on the last day of the Cannonball. I was very happy to be able to catch the Cannonball twice in 2024! Forest Hills is actually where I first caught the Cannonball express. Afterwards, we see some action at Harrison Station which includes Danbury express diesel trains and Amtrak. A great day out and a video you do not want to miss! Enjoy!
