Former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Democrat-California) claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris won the
Democratic presidential nomination in an open primary despite having received zero votes.

During an interview with late-night talk show host Bill Maher this week,
the former House speaker asserted that Harris ascended her way to becoming the Democratic Party’s
presidential nominee in a democratic way, the Daily Wire reported.
