Due to unforeseen circumstances, it's been 15 long days and nights since I was last able to catch up with the animals.
Apparently Goggles missed me nearly as much as I missed him😍. coming straight away to greet me..He was barely interested in bread, which is a rare and high value treat but instead wanted to be talked to,scratched and have some ticks removed.
This is the first time he let me remove his ticks- a job usually reserved for family members!.. sadly there's not many of those left. Goggles and Sistra are the sole survivors of that Generation. Goggles ' s Sister Ginger and her baby passed in April/ May and his big brother Scooty a six or so weeks ago ☹️🥺.
Also not sighted for a month now is Wullumbin the Bush Turkey and her husband Sinatra.
Goggles is not looking well I am sad to report but I am so glad that we can get closer in his golden years.
