TO WIT
Prepare to MUDDLE
In the small side of a Boston Shaker, add 1 sugar cube, 1/2 oz of simple syrup, 3 lemon wedges, AND 10-15 mint leaves (fresh is best). Muddle the lemon into the sugar and be carful not to over muddle the mint.
Add in 3 oz of your favorite bourbon, then using the muddle, stir until the grains of sugar are mostly dissolved. Double strain over a Collins glass filled with pebble ice, top with soda water (or tonic if you are so inclined) add a lemon wheel.
