Captain Kirk checks on the rollout of Kamala Harris's running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz. He appears 'normal' at first, a US military veteran and former assistant football coach. The Captain explores that however 'normal' Tim Walz seems initially, the old adage remains true: the more you stare into the abyss, the more the abyss stares back at you. This is the first in a Notionally Accurate Podcast series 'Controlled Demolition'; our first target is Gov. Tim Walz. The Captain shows that yes, as governor Tim Walz earned the nickname 'Tampon Tim'. It gets worse, as the Captain shows how Minnesota's Tim Walz locked down his state during COVID, and despite his chanting 'mind your own damn business', had no problem minding the business of others in a typically iron-fisted way. Walz allowed his state to be lit aflame after George Floyd killed himself, while Minnesota's First Lady opened her windows to catch whiffs of burning tires. What was just written is not satire. Plus, Walz and his love of China is shown as he downplayed the Tiananmen Square debacle while he taught in the Communist Country, even honeymooning there with his wife Gwen. Finally, Walz and claims of his stolen valor are analyzed.
