Rescue cat Jack - his all too brief time with us.

Jack was rescued just a few weeks ago in very bad condition. His face was covered with dirt and mucous. He had been thrown away just because he was sick. After his first trip to the vet, it became clear that besides flu, he also had Calici virus and blood parasites. After intensive care for 3 days he came home to recuperate slowly - but after seeming to recover slowly - on Thursday, he was having difficulty breathing again and went straight back to the vet. After more intensive care - he died late yesterday morning. It turns out that his kidneys were badly damaged by the blood parasites. Jack was a sweet cat - I don't think he saw much love in his life. He should have been looked after properly - instead of being dumped - and he would still be alive.
