Ecclesiastes 1:9 says: “What has been is what will be, and what has been done is what will be done again, and there is nothing new under the sun”. The Lord is telling us to pay attention to the whole scheme of what is happening around us nationally, because one of the greatest life experience is the ability to gain wisdom and understanding from observing the mistakes of others and nations as examples for us; they were written down to warn us who live at the end of the age - that’s us. The Bible says, you will repeat if you don't know or don’t pay attention. As it is written in 1 Corinthians chapters 8, 9, and 10: God's intent was that each generation would pass on their knowledge and experience to the next generation because those who do not learn from history, are doomed to repeat history. Don't forget what happened to our ancestors who had all of God’s Favor and yet they still grumbled!
