9-1-2024 | Understanding the Fear of The Lord - Part 3

This Sunday, Mike McClung continued to discuss the Fear of the Lord. This week was Part 3 - True Repentance. Within the Body of Christ, a culture has developed that accepts emotional confession as if it were repentance that pleases God. Sadly, this mentality is both untrue and widespread. If there is no forsaking of sin, that is not repentance. And as gracious and compassionate as the Lord is, He is not fooled. If we want to affect change by becoming the vessel the Lord is looking for, our self-imposed blindness has to go. Lord, grant us the fear of the Lord in our repentance, that we would be driven from our sin and not just bothered by it.
