We must keep our lives stoked in prayer. This means the more wood you place in the fire, the more it will burn. We are the temple of God because He resides in us. As such, God requires us to live holy lives. As we strive to get closer to the Lord, He will continually purify and cleanse us in order that we will be meat for the Master's use. Holiness is freedom from moral evil - sanctified and set apart for sacred use. God expects us to use His Word to judge and cleanse our own walk of life. Eight things the fire does: 1) Judges & purifies Gen 19:24 (because of sin) - 2) Fire for sacrifice Gen 22:6&7 - 3) God is in the fire Ex 3:2 - 4) Fire that destroys Ex 9:23&24 - 5) Fire as light for direction Ex 13:21&22 - 6) Fire to confound the enemy Ex 14:24 - 7) The Glory of the Lord is like a devouring fire Ex 24:17 - 8) Fire on the altar should never go out Lev 6:12&13. Principles of prayer: 1) Be persistent - 2) Pray without ceasing - 3) The prayer of confession - 4) We must confess - 5) Prayer of thanksgiving - 6) Prayer of worship - 7) Prayer of meditation. She concludes with a prophetic word and then she begins to preach the fire! "You can't live any kind of way with this fire. He's calling for holiness, right and honest living.”
