Printing PETG Faster on your 3d Printer

I have a number of products I sell that are made with PETG. In general, you have to print PETG slower than PLA to get good layer adhesion. My normal print speed settings for PLA are 3600 mm/min. For PETG I use 3000 mm/min.

In this video I explore trying to speed up the PETG printing while still maintaining quality.
Can you print PETG @ 3600 mm/min? Stay tuned to the end to find out!

I also show how to use a remnant of a PETG reel (that's all we needed for the test) while still keeping the 3d printer enclosure (mostly) closed up.

Spoiler: I do find a way to print PETG faster…

NOTE: I have successfully printed PETG @ 0.3mm layers using a 0.4mm nozzle. I show that in this video: https://youtu.be/NMtCBVfGeCw?si=Rm10uH1NsoZcG1EQ
That substantially speeds up printing since you're printing 50% fewer layers than if you use 0.2mm layers.
