John Moschos and the Quran

John Moschos (or "Moschus") was a monk and writer who left us with a work called, "The Spiritual Meadow." It seems that some of the material from his milieu was used in Surah 18 of the Quran, which already contains an especially high density of material borrowed from other sources.
