The Rings of Power Viewership WORSE Than Season 1

We’re starting to get some viewership numbers in for Amazon’s Lord of the Rings series, The Rings of Power, and according to some metrics the viewership is worse than season 1 of the Prime Video series.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power viewership comparison between the premiere episodes for season 1 and season 2 shows the second season was only able to get around half the audience. This makes sense when considering that some data suggested over 60% of the people who started season one of the Amazon Prime Video series actually completed it. Right now it’s looking like Amazon just lost the target audience for their show and while some may enjoy it, the vast majority of people who checked it out don’t.
