What was the Strength Through Joy Program?

At the 2024 Democratic National Convention, the Democrats embraced the word "Joy" for their campaign. Many pundits on the right, and even some progressives, are trying to link the Joy of Democrats to the Joy of National Socialists in their Strength Through Joy program of the 1930s.
