If We Do Not Possess the Right to Life We Have No Rights

The law on abortion has properly relegated to the states. This issue should never have been - Constitutionally - a federal issue and the law is correct now. While the law is now properly before the states the issue is far from settled. Abortion is about the most fundamental of rights - the right to life - and encompasses one of the most profound questions about freedom. That question comes down to what limit is there on freedom for society to function. Most would agree that your freedom should be limited to not taking the life of another and that is what abortion is. Unfortunately, as with most big issues - no one wants to talk about the foundational arguments and it has, instead, been made into a women’s rights issue. I’m looking forward to our guests today and to discussing this fully.
