Tenet and it's founders, right wing youtuber Lauren Chen and her husband, are alleged to have been bankrolled by Russian agents without disclosing their foreign ties and registering with the government, which is illegal. Some of the other influencers working for their Tenet are considered victims hoodwinked by the Russians, for now.
