Jesus urges towards Spiritual Activity... If you wish to serve Me, then I require your full Commitment

March 19, 1947 - Message 4002 from Jesus through Bertha Dudde

You must be fully committed if you wish to serve Me on earth. That means that you are to devote yourselves completely to your task, that you are to make use of every opportunity and work for Me, because it is necessary. Only spiritual work retains its value, only spiritual striving promises eternal success, whereas all earthly activity becomes invalid the moment you depart from this world.

Earthly duties should indeed be fulfilled, but spiritual activity must be prioritized and accomplished first, otherwise earthly work will not be blessed either.

Therefore will My servants on earth always receive support from above if they need it, for the purpose of fulfilling spiritual and earthly tasks, and My servants may walk their earthly paths without worry, because I will make up for every uneven path they are supposed to walk across; and if I give you this promise, you may truly believe that your path will always be traversable, because I Myself will walk with you wherever you will go.

However, you must always raise your eyes to Me, you must not turn towards the world and withdraw yourselves from My guiding Fatherly hand, for then you will easily end up on byways which will lead back to the world, and then you will hardly be able to accomplish your work for My kingdom.

But you are necessary in the time to come, your task is of great urgency, it is important and cannot be postponed, and therefore I urge you time and again towards eager activity, and I will never stop urging you, so you will hear My voice time and again and obey what I tell you to do. Your life passes quickly, therefore do not pay special attention to it, but the soul is to be provided for for eternity, and thus you must think of it far more and be exceedingly active in spirit, even if the body is disadvantaged as a result.

If you seek Me at all times, you will always succeed, if you seek the world, you will lose. However, the world offers you no compensation for what you lose, but what I offer you is precious and cannot be replaced by anything else. Hold on to it and do not let it be taken away from you by not resisting the temptations...

Remain spiritually active and the tempter will not approach you, for the former ensures your connection with Me, protecting you from every danger for the soul. This will make you strong and capable of accomplishing all your work, and you will be successful laborers in My vineyard... Amen
