Whitmer Declares Voter Preregistration Week

The week will be dedicated to a campaign that encourages young Michiganders to vote. Those as young as sixteen are able to preregister, so that they may easily turn out to vote once they reach eighteen. According to a press release, the initiative aims to excite young voters, including future voters, about civic engagement.
