He shows us how reading Psalm 23 in the context of Psalms 22 and 24 reveals amazing parallels between Jesus’ work on the cross, His provision for us today, His coming glorification when He returns, and the trilogy of Psalms. Pastor Rob also shares about King David’s experience as a shepherd and how that informed him as he composed Psalm 23. Biblically, shepherding is akin to leading a church; Pastor Rob illustrates this with six key ways both pastors and shepherds must provide for their flocks. With the Lord as our Good Shepherd, we lack nothing. God is our Provider—yesterday, today, and forever.
