Ruger SFAR - Come on Ruger... QC Needs to Improve

What's worse than a single shot semi-auto rifle?

My SFAR, which I picked up used in trade, has run over 120 trouble free 308 rounds until today - figured out the issue, but dang Ruger...

The single fastener on a 308 bolt/gas key makes no sense to me - yes, they have all that pressure hitting one fastener. I noticed it when I cleaned the rifle the first time, but figured they must know something.

Yes, they staked the key, but that only accomplished keeping the screws from coming out of the top - they still move freely, and thus, came apart... To my untrained eyes, looks like they failed to stake it properly.

Love the rifle for the most part, and we'll get through this for sure, but dang Ruger, you can't let this stuff slip....
