9-8-2024 | Understanding the Fear of the Lord - Part 4, Pure Thoughts

This Sunday, Mike McClung continued to discuss the Fear of the Lord. This week was Part 4 - Pure Thoughts. In order for the Lord to have a Bride made ready for His return, we as believers must have our thought-lives purified. This is essential because all sin begins in the mind, and Romans 12:2 says, when we are transformed in our thoughts, holiness starts to take over the rest of our lives. Many try to become more "moral" by legalistic tactics, but the scripture shows us that by the fear of the Lord, His thoughts can replace our thoughts as we meditate on what He thinks (as in scripture). Ultimately, this leads to seeing ourselves and others from HIS perspective, and seeing everything from His point of view is the natural state of the Bride.
