Savage Model 10 FCP-K LE - A Beast!

The Savage Model 10 FCP-K LE was sold years ago, it's a rock solid beast of a rifle. Not meant to be a hunting rifle, but really more of a sniper/precision/tactical rifle - it was a hot seller in it's time.

I picked this one up used, almost no rounds through it, for a low price. I'm glad I took the chance on it - she's a great rifle.

Running some 150 grain and 172 grain 308 handloads through this baby - the rounds were made with either ZSR or mixed brass, Ramshot Tac, and factory 2nd bullets. I have to say, Ramshot Tac is impressive powder!!! These rounds were not made to touch the lands of the rifle as they are also for semi-auto AR-10 (need to fix the magazine), so I am positive I could get even greater accuracy from this load...
