Hyper-Nice Jesus

Some people try to present Jesus as someone who wouldn't offend anyone. That is not how the Bible presents him. The Bible does not say 'love does not offend' and the Golden Rule cannot be used to 'do not offend.' Jesus said many things that his listeners found offensive. He even rebuked them directly and taught his disciples to do the same.
