Super Chicken (1967)

Super Chicken was an animated segment that aired as part of the George of the Jungle TV show in 1967. The show featured a bumbling superhero named Super Chicken, who, despite his lack of heroic skills, would take on villains with his trusty lion sidekick, Fred. Super Chicken would transform into his superhero persona by drinking "Super Sauce," and the humor in the show often stemmed from his ineptitude and Fred's dry wit.

It was created by Jay Ward Productions, the same studio behind iconic shows like Rocky and Bullwinkle. While Super Chicken only had a brief run, it became a cult favorite for its playful parody of superhero tropes.
