David was the lead singer for Huntsville's rock quartet Black Label who has been around for at least four years before Ozzy Osbourne guitarist Zakk Wylde debuted his Black Label Society side project in 1999. Black Label's original material, such as "Colour" and "Line," contains big guitars, growling, AOR-meets-grunge vocals and six-string solos.
