In 1995, after the loss of his son Tariq to a gang-related incident, Azim chose the path of compassion and forgiveness. He founded the Tariq Khamisa Foundation (TKF). The foundation creates safer schools and communities through educating and inspiring children in the restorative principles of accountability and compassion. Since then, Azim has touched millions with his message of forgiveness, peace, and leadership.
