Date A Live: Ren Dystopia | A High Quality Visual Novel

Hello Im Skill Incarnate and Welcome to My Games Review Series.
My reviews cover indie games that i have bought, had gifted to me and have been provided by developers for review. In this episode I check out the Sci Fi JRPG Game called Date A Live: Ren Dystopia on Steam.
This game was developed and published by Idea Factory International, who are one of the most highly producer of JRPGs and Visual Novels on Steam, with hits including Amnesia Memories, Mary Skelter and the
critically acclaimed Neptunia Series.

Date A Live: Ren Dystopia is the second installment in the Date A Live Series and the sequel to Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation, a game i hope to cover in the future. The game occurs 30 years after a calamity which
released spirits accross the world. We again control Shido Itsuka, a highschool student bestowed with the ability to communicate with spirits and seal their powers. In order to this this he must make the sprit fall
in love with him, meaning he must do battle via a series of dates with the various spirits, preventing them doing further harm to his home and making them his allies. The player will navigate a branching narrative which will chance based on your relationships with the cast of spirits and your choice on whom to date. This adds a high level of replayability due to the amount of choice given to the player to reach one of the games several endings.

As a fan of visual novels I was very impressed by the detail of this Visual Novel. It boasts a very high quality artwork and animation, with a huge amount of characters, settings and choices given to the player. This is by far the highest quality visual novel ive ever read and has set a new standard for visual novels for myself going forward.

I highly recommend the game to fans of JRPGs and Visual Novels, or for player looking for something a little more casual and light in their Visual Novels.
