Alien Intervention Theory

This list is really making me confront the difference between beliefs and theories & ideas that I would like to believe. I think that most humans take their beliefs for granted. Belief comes with responsibilities and consequences. Racism always comes to mind because the location in time and geography that I grew up. But let us use another example.

Someone, quite possibly someone American or British convinced the Ukrainian military that it would be a good idea to invade Russian territory. The poop culture media cheered this on, while the freelance intel community considered it a bad idea. What's the Ukrainian body count? I can't remember, but it's up there. Can you even imagine in the minds of Ukrainian infantry (this literally means kids) that it would be a good idea to invade Russia?

This is an example of beliefs being dangerous. It's also a dangerous and foolish belief to think that the US could win a war against Russia. In 1981 when "Stripes" was released Bill Murray was touting American's war history. He says something to the effect that America was "10 & 1." That one loss being Vietnam. Fast forward to today and America is closer to 1 & 10, and arguably insignificant on the world power stage.

This is a digression. We're not talking about this stuff in this episode. Saturday's aren't that deep.

We are still healing from our leg injury. We haven't quite diagnosed it yet. But we have ways of working around the injury as it is healing and being repaired. We have some killer flashbacks within this episode as well. And as usual. You won't want to miss it.
