The Egyptian goose

The Egyptian goose comes from Africa. They are popular as ornamental birds and have been introduced to Europe, the USA and other places outside their natural habitat.Because of their popularity chiefly as an ornamental bird, the species has also been introduced to Europe, the United States and elsewhere outside their natural habitat.
The Egyptian goose is not really a goose but a shelduck. It has characteristics of a duck but some external characteristics of a goose too.
