He is locked in a battle with the Protector and it's newest Pilot Michelle McCloud, a battle Zach and Michelle are surprised is so evenly matched. But it isn't until Michelle...such a rookie, so young she doesn't truly know yet how to deal with any growing stress...lets it foolishly slip that Zach's suit seems Avarr level which should be impossible because to keep him safe from groups like the Just the Ten Man was supposed to share his Avarr tech with the US government alone, that Zach suddenly understands a terrible truth. Not only does it seem that the US Government has had a deal with the Ten Man that pretty much has kept him free to do whatever he wants, but Zach's own father may have been betraying that deal in order so thar Nesh/Ack Industrial could get Avarr armored suits for its own purposes [AI Art]*
