ANOINTED FEET-THE THINGS THAT CARRY US FORWARD

“Blessed are the feet of those who bring good tidings.”
That scripture comes from when fast runners carried messages from town to town. When a message was full of good news, they received the runner with Joy. Hence the statement.
Blessed are the feet of those who bring good news.
When the children of Israel faced the Jordan River with no way to get crossed, Joshua called for the priest to bring the ark. When the priest placed their feet into the Jordan River, the anointing of God caused the water to part. Then, they stood in the middle of that miracle until all 2 1/2 million people crossed Jordan on dry ground.
Joshua 418 tells us that as soon as their feet touched the other side on dry ground, the water came back to where it had been a flowing river.
Ephesians 6:15 tells us we strap our feet with the gospel of peace.
Because we are Kings and Priests, our feet are anointed to go where others would fear to walk, and when we do, the anointing of God claims the territory that we walk in.
Your feet were made for walking, not sitting or hiding in a cave or a back room.
Jesus commanded us to go into the world and preach the gospel. When he gave that command, most of those that went used their feet.
Those anointed messengers walked with anointed feet into all of the known world. They carried the gospel into what is now the United Kingdom, England. They carried the gospel up the Silk Road into the region of India and beyond.
Where will your anointed feet carry you today, tomorrow, and beyond?
Be obedient to the voice of the Lord and walk out your journey by faith with the anointing that God has put in you and your feet to finish the task.
