I wonder what happened to the Pharisees...

They crucified our Lord, who died and was buried. He descended into hell... on the third day he rose again from the dead and ascended into heaven. He is seated at the right hand of God, the Father, almighty... but what about them? Where did they go? Who did they become? What did they proliferate in our world and what are the consequences for us today, here, in this place?
