Apatros Review Ep-0101: Project Atlantis [2022] ("Species 5"?)

AR-0101: Sometimes you just have to wonder what on Earth goes on in that sewer-infested rival site of YouTube that us good folks over here on the glorious site of Rumble [shout out to all us cool Rumblers!], when the situation with the movie bootlegging on YT is so ridiculous [not that I would necessarily be complaining about that too much as it does help with collectors of obscure material - to a certain degree, of course, but Rumble is 1110% the superior site. If I thought otherwise, I would never have left YT in the first place...] that you tend to see a lot of bullhitsa unique to that hellhole, such as fake trailers for big movies [tends to happen for Terminator movies] and trash movies being uploaded posing as sequels to old franchises. I've even seen my favourite movie "Predator" getting uploaded under the title of "Forest Reptile" with the opening credits being modified to remove the original title but otherwise left intact!

Anyhoo, in this particular example, I came across a really weird example of deceptive conduct with an absolute garbage piece of cheap Spanish filmmaking called "Project Atlantis" that was uploaded to that site under the title of "Species 5", which I came across by pure chance when I was searching for the rare R-rated cut of "Species III" [I have bought the DVD of that version in mid-July 2024] and I was left scratching my head as to how in the depths of Nurgle's zit-covered backside did this unholy bugger get made. I had to do some research to figure it out, not that there was much material to explain this atrocity, and I chose to include it in my collection as a sure-fire way to win any Bad Movie Night I happen to get involved in as very few people out there would know about this one...

...and it is EXTREMELY friggin' bad!!!
