Thousands of people are trafficked globally into the war-torn eastern regions of Burma, where they are forced to scam people in Europe, the US, and China.
On the Burma/ Thailand border in Southeast Asia in such places like KK Park, a notorious cyber slavery scam city, refusal to do so can lead to torture or even death.
