OTS Episode #31 Off The Path Cold Spring Harbor State Park Hiking Trail, Cold Spring Harbor NY

We wanted to find a challenging hike and read up that these trails were hilly!
A fairly spacious parking lot at the beginning there are options for restrooms provided by the local library. The weather wasn’t very cooperative but the tree canopy kept us mostly protected from the sporadic rain showers. The trail was beautiful and challenging with consistent ups and downs, we went two miles in and turned around for a total of 4 miles, there is an attachment to the Nassau greenbelt which takes you all the way down to Massapequa for a total of 20 miles.
