Messiah said our actions will be greater than His

We will serve Him here longer than He ministered. Messiah said we would do greater works than he did, because we would live on Earth longer than Him and be empowered by the Holy Spirit.

The promises on intercessory prayer in John 14:12-14 are some of the most difficult in all of Scripture for me to understand. They occur in the context of Yeshua providing encouragement and comfort to His distraught disciples.

His disciples were troubled by the news He gave them that He was leaving them soon. They were troubled because one of them was about to betray Him. They were troubled that Peter would deny Him three times.

Yeshua told them that after He was gone they would do greater actions than He xdid. He also promised them they could do anything that they ask in His name. Yeshua’s promises should encourage and comfort us as well.
