What happened to adults in the German concentration camps during World War II? Yad Vashem photos and others show that camp inmates worked a huge variety of jobs, including sewing, construction, furniture making, toy making and the manufacture of war materials. The concentration camps were work camps, but there was also theater, music and sports.
