Assassination attempt on Donald Trump thwarted by Secret Service.

Donald Trump was on the fifth hole of Trump International Golf Course earlier this afternoon in West Palm Beach Florida. The golf course is near but not at Mar-a-Lago.

Secret Service agents who were one hole ahead of Trump spotted a rifle barrel sticking out of the bush and engaged the suspect with multiple rounds. The suspect discarded his AK47 style, a backpack and a go-pro at the scene. Inside the backpack there are reports that there may have been ceramic plates, which are used in hard body armor. That is as yet unconfirmed.
